How does it work?
Solar Panels come in all shapes, sizes and materials. A solar panel is made up of a number of solar (PV) cells that convert the sun's energy into green electricity.
For this energy to be useable, the panels mounted on your roof need to be connected to the electrical system via an inverter.
Our service includes all the necessary equipment for a complete solar installation so, after installation, you will be able to automatically generate your own electricity from the panels installed.
During bright days the solar panels will produce more electricity than you are likely to use. Excess electricity is usually exported to the grid either for free or in some cases for a few pence per kWh. The addition of a battery allows the green energy obtained from the solar panels to be stored and used outside of daylight hours.
